What can I expect during and after my appointment?

During your ECG appointment, you can expect a quick and comfortable experience:

  • Preparation: We will take your blood pressure and your SP02 (oxygen saturation levels) before your test, then you’ll be ​asked to lie down and relax. Small, sticky sensors called electrodes will be attached to your chest, arms, and legs.
  • During the Test: You simply need to stay still for a few minutes while the machine records your heart's electrical activity. ​The process is painless and usually takes about 5 to 10 minutes.
  • After the Test: You can return to your normal activities immediately after the test.
  • Results and Follow-Up Your ECG report will be issued within 48 hours after the test. Our healthcare team will analyse the ​results and provide you with a detailed report. If any abnormalities are found, or if further evaluation is necessary, we may, ​with your consent liaise with your GP.
